Women of the ELCA

The Bethel Women of the ELCA is and active group that supports the services of our church and our community.

The women of Bethel also have a worldwide outreach making quilts and assembling health kits for Lutheran Word Relief. Hundreds of quilts and health kits have been distributed world wide helping the less fortunate because of our ladies.

The women are also involved in many fundraisers throughout the year, including our annual garage sale.

The ladies circles, Martha and Lois, provide fellowship, spiritual growth and enrichment for all who participate. These groups meet monthly for Bible Study and fellowship.

For a complete schedule of activities, check out our calendar!

Bethel’s youth group is open to all 6th – 12th graders. We have many gifted and talented young members who want to be a part of Bethel’s ministry and Christian outreach.

Confirmation classes for grades 7 & 8 meet on Wednesday nights from 6-7pm, rotating at different Omaha-area Lutheran churches monthly between September and May.  Please speak with one of the pastors if you are interested in participating in our confirmation program.

Each year the young people of Bethel host a pancake breakfast on Easter Sunday, a Valentine’s Day dinner, and a Halloween Trunk or Treat for the neighborhood kids.

Bethel teaches the word of God to the children in our Sunday School program. Our Sunday School is open to children ages from pre-school to high school. Children are at the forefront of Christ’s ministry and are vital members of our congregation and our mission to preach the word of God.
